Alcorcón City Council's Empresa de Servicios Municipales de Alcorcón (EMASA) is implementing a bilateral automatic loading system for its fleet of waste collection vehicles. The new system completely automates the collection process to increase efficiency and reduces the number of personnel required for each route to only one operator. This upgrade will allow personnel to dedicate their time to other tasks, extend the lifetime of the containers, and reduce carbon emissions.
