Angus Council, GB Home Energy Improvements Households Pilot
Angus Council and project partner Save Cash and Reduce Fuel (SCARF) identified neighborhoods with high energy usage. SCARF contacts households in pilot areas by mail to set appointments for home energy audits. Free evaluations consider past utility bills and household assets when recommending upgrades. Homeowners learn about fully and partially subsidized energy improvements that can be carried out by council-approved contractors.

As part of its commitment to promote and improve energy efficiency and reduce fuel poverty, Angus Council is working in partnership with Scarf on a project aimed at the area’s private sector housing.
