Birmingham City Council, GB powers data-driven decarbonization efforts with Project 3D hub
Birmingham City Council, GB Project 3D Decarbonization
City officials and the Centre for Sustainable Energy developed an online hub for public data related to the environment. Hub users find datasets about topics including vehicle registrations, building emissions, and live energy usage. Birmingham City Council uses the Project 3D platform when deciding on projects related to zero-carbon construction, building retrofits, and equitable transit. A funding competition selected seven groups to turn Project 3D data into community projects.
