Residents aged 14 and older in the Waldsee district can submit up to two ideas for eco-friendly projects. Freiburg is looking for projects in categories like green energy, reduced consumption, environmental protection, and nutrition. Successful projects are eligible for up to 5,000 euros each with an 80,000-euro fund for the entire initiative. Local officials want Waldsee to become a template for other districts to take up small-scale climate action projects.
