Kawasaki, Kanagawa Kakegawa Municipal Chatbot Service Pilot

The two municipalities conducted multiple rounds of testing on MRI's AI-enabled chatbot. The first trial evaluated how users interacted with child development support content. A three-month pilot expanded the Municipal Chatbot Service to areas like waste collection and document requests. Kawasaki and Kanagawa assisted with the standardization and simplification of chatbot features. The Service's popularity among city employees and users led to its release for public use in 2018.
