Kiama, NSW Leisure Centre Solar Panel Installation

Complete

The Kiama Leisure Centre houses a 99.6-kilowatt system financed by the council's Revolving Energy Fund. This installation produces 148,000kWh per year, offsetting as much as 30% of the facility's energy needs. Kiama reduces annual operational costs by $15,000 AUD with savings deposited back into the energy fund. Carbon emission reductions of 128 tons per year demonstrate the council's commitment to the five pledges of the Cities Power Partnership.
