The council and project partners recruited three storefronts to host the giving points for Lancaster District Street Aid. Passersby can swipe cards equipped for contactless payments over each point to donate £3 for homeless relief. QR codes on Stagecoach buses are scanned to send £3 contributions through the Total Giving platform. Lancaster District Street Aid issues grants to homeless residents for interview clothing, transportation to interviews, and training expenses.
