City officials agreed to a two-year contract with Govtech for the use of its webCAPTURE service. This platform integrates with the Capita system for automated processing of tax-related forms by residents and businesses. Each request is automatically sorted, prioritized, and communicated to the relevant council officer for response. Leeds City Council will save enough time by replacing manual processes to deploy 14 staff members for more complex projects.
