Santa Cruz County, CA expanding broadband access
The Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors voted to allocate $500,000 in grant funding toward expanding broadband access to address the digital divide. The grant funding will be applied to a partnership between the Community Foundation of Santa Cruz County and Cruzio Internet to expand the Equal Access Santa Cruz County project. The project expansion will provide fast internet service to over 4,000 underserved households for a maximum of $15 a month.
