Tweed, NSW Sustainable Agriculture Small Grants Program
The program issues grants of up to AUD 4,000 per project for pilots by local farmers and landowners. Applicants submit quotes for necessary products and commit to matching at least 50% of requested grants. Projects selected by the council meet at least one of three objectives: biodiversity, improved land management, and sustainable agriculture capacity. Examples of funded pilots include a dairy wastewater reuse system and reduced pesticide use through biological controls.
