Unincorporated ACT, ACT Public Park Electrical Equipment

In Progress

Park rangers at Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve trialed electric blowers, saws, and trimmers during a four-month pilot. The replacements provided similar performance to gas-powered equipment without their weight or emissions. Territorial officials approved a one-year extension of the program to all parks including two power-assist mountain bikes with trailers. This pilot will evaluate device performance, battery life, and staff satisfaction.
