Calgary, AB provides transit flexibility for northern neighborhoods with Transit On Demand Pilot
Calgary, AB Transit On Demand Pilot Flexibility
An initial one-year trial connected residents in Carrington and Livingston to two transit stops in North Pointe. The Transit On Demand app allows users to request rides seven days a week. Commuters can schedule trips up to 72 hours in advance. Dynamic routing built into the app maximizes each shuttle's trip through shared rides. The fare for each ride is $3.50 CAD, the same price as a standard bus fare.
