Ipswich, QLD Engage Resident Organic Waste Collection

Complete

Ipswich's year-long trial of biweekly FOGO collection served 1,000 households in two suburban communities. The program website featured colorful graphics and instructions in four languages for separating food or garden waste from landfill waste. The Tips to FOGO Like a Pro section allowed participants to share their tips for waste disposal and reduction. Project leaders also used the website to answer questions about the program and survey pilot households.
