The Municipality of La Plata launched the "La Plata ReActiva" express authorization program to allow local businesses to open in less than 24 hours with a provisional permit. The La Plata ReActiva program was created to increase the efficiency of the permitting process, enhance transparency, and incentivize new local establishments. The previous system required new businesses to submit documentation over a six-month process but now processing after the provisional permit takes less than 90 days.
