Liverpool City Council, GB Vortex Air Quality Pilot Schools
Vortex's VTX Air sensors were installed outside of four schools for the pilot. These low-cost, low-maintenance devices track air pollutants including ozone, carbon dioxide, and particulate matter. Real-time air quality data allow city officials to observe the impacts of traffic-calming measures in school zones. City officials use sensor data and the Let's Clear the Air educational website to inform the public about ongoing pollution reduction efforts.
