Borough residents scheduled free appliance pickup by AO using an online application form. AO processes collected washers, refrigerators, and other large appliances for parts. Borough officials touted the pilot as the first of its type in the United Kingdom.
Project Succeeded
AO collected approximately 4,000 appliances during the pilot's 19-month span.
