Mendoza, MZ circular economy mitigates food waste

The Municipality of Mendoza launched the "Let's Explain it with Apples" program which uses the concept of a circular economy to mitigate food waste. The program involves recovering food that is otherwise going to be thrown away and giving it a second chance in the commercial circuit. The municipality joins forces with private sector and civil society organizations create a sustainable cycle for food that is suitable for consumption but not for marketing.
