Participating landlords are asked to deprioritize factors like evictions and income history on lease applications. The city-backed Collective issues $2,000 for the first five units leased to unhoused or housing-insecure applicants. Landlords receive $500 per unit for continued participation along with $2,000 in lost rent for every lease terminated due to lack of payment. This program connects tenants with health care and employment services through local providers.
