Pittsburgh, PA deploys a unified high-speed fibre network
The City of Pittsburgh is partnering with the communications infrastructure provider Crown Castle to deploy a comprehensive unified fibre internet connectivity network. The unified high-speed fibre network will connect all 131 city facilities including emergency medical stations, fire stations, recreation centres, and critical public safety infrastructure. The partnership will improve the delivery of resident services, allow the deployment of public Wi-Fi, and increase traffic efficiency.
