The City of Richmond installed a new mobile app-based Rapid Entry System in over 25 local multi-family buildings. The new system gives Richmond Fire-Rescue Department and the Richmond Department of Royal Canadian Mounted Police faster access to locked buildings during an emergency. First responders can use the electronic key app to unlock and immediately gain access into the common areas of these buildings.
