San Jose, CA Kern Solar & Battery Storage renewable energy
San José Clean Energy partnered with Terra-Gen to launch the Kern Solar and Battery Storage project. The project is designed to produce clean electricity to power nearly 65,000 homes annually for the next 12 years. The project will provide a fixed delivery of 62 megawatts of renewable energy between 6am to 10pm every day. This will support grid reliability, reduce carbon emissions, and improve air quality by providing renewable energy for customers during high demand times.
