Seattle, WA Flip Your Trip Incentivize Shared Transportation

In Progress

Flip Your Trip was created by city transit officials to reduce congestion during the West Seattle Bridge closure. West Seattle residents and commuters fill out an online form to access $25 in free credits for bus, water taxi, scooter, and bike trips in lieu of car rides. Participants use the county's Transit GO Ticket app to earn rewards based on transit usage for future trips. The program's marketing campaign features spokespuppet Sal the Salmon traveling around West Seattle.
