The city installed Wi-Fi equipment at Bannerman Park and Victoria Park to address digital poverty worsened by COVID-19. Each park features signs indicating the best spots for users to access free Wi-Fi. City officials selected these parks to maximize use near shelters, social service centers, and transit stops.
