White Bear Lake, MN Bear Tracks Autonomous Vehicle Shuttle
In Progress
The Minnesota Department of Transportation is funding the one-year self-driving shuttle pilot. AECOM will use an all-electric, 11-seat Navya Autonom Shuttle for the program. Commuters can stop at four locations on the 1.5-mile route including Phoenix Alternatives, two senior apartments, and the local YMCA. Bear Tracks operates for free Monday through Friday. The pilot fills a gap in local transit and generates data for autonomous vehicle use throughout the state.
