In Progress

The city authorized VeoRide and Bird to conduct e-scooter pilots in geofenced areas. VeoRide's one-year pilot was extended by six months to accommodate commuters during COVID-19. Bird was granted a six-month license to replace Spin after its pandemic-related withdrawal. Each operator is allowed up to 500 scooters as part of the program. E-scooter use is limited to daytime hours with operators prohibited from allowing rentals after sunset.
