Hobbs, NM combats illegal gun use in public spaces with ZeroEyes detection system

City officials approved the integration of the AI-powered software into security cameras at parks, city buildings, and traffic lights. ZeroEyes captures footage of illegally brandished or used guns throughout Hobbs. Images are sent to the company's Operations Centers for verification and communication with local law enforcement. This process can take as little as three seconds from image delivery. The system filters out false alarms caused by legal gun use, toy weapons, and BB guns.

Seattle, WA Illegal Dumping Camera Pilot takes new approach to recent spike in dumping violations

Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) undertook the one-year pilot following increases in illegal waste amounts and removal costs.
