Blainville, QC adds a neutral meeting zone to a police station for secure ecommerce exchanges

A yellow-bordered zone in the station's parking lot offers a safe place to exchange goods sold over the Internet. Local residents select the meeting zone rather than their homes as a drop-off location. This well-lit space is monitored around the clock by video cameras. Blainville developed the zone as a cost-effective means for reducing fraud and inappropriate behavior by unverified online sellers.
