Boulder County launched a new pilot program designed to reduce pollution from food and beverage packaging. The program promotes the design and manufacturing of reusable, recycled, recyclable, bio-based, and compostable packaging. Participating local food and beverage manufacturers will receive up to $10,000 in financial support for costs associated with transitioning to sustainable packaging. The program will also offer workshops that connect businesses with packaging experts.
