The City of Köln is partnering with RheinEnergie to launch "Treffpunkt Solar" center where clubs, companies, and homeowner's associations can receive free and independent advice on photovoltaics, solar thermal energy, heat pumps, electromobility, etc. The Treffpunkt Solar advice center will also connect visitors with experts available to answer questions about funding opportunities and electricity marketing.

Westmorland County contracted engineering consultant Michael Baker International to identify areas without adequate internet access, develop a broadband plan, and establish partnerships with private companies to expand broadband services. The Westmorland County Department of Planning and Development is paying $600,000 in American Rescue Plant Act funds for the one-year o service with the option of extending the contract up to five years.

The Municipality of Waalwijk created an intake table program which offers residents who are interested in taking an initiative a free 30-minute consultation with experts. Participants receive insights into the possible opportunities, obstacles, and feasibility of their plans. The intake table program was designed specifically for the early stages of planning such as during the drafting of an application or an environmental permit.

The Municipality of Tulln partnered with "CIMA Beratung + Management GmbH" consulting agency to launch the "StadtUp" start-up competition. The "StadtUp" competition was designed as a promotional program to encourage proposals for establishing or expanding businesses in the city center. The proposals will be reviewed by a 20-member jury consisting of network partners and city marketing professionals. Five winners will receive over €100,000 in support measures and service packages.

Individuals and businesses can book a 20-minute appointment with a building permit administrator and receive advice via a phone call or digitally. The building permit administrator will offer advice on rebuilding, expansions, or new building construction projects including whether a permit is needed, building size regulations, any special rules, etc.

The centre is a single contact point for all family-related questions offering free guidance from psychotherapists, counselors and social workers working directly in-house to provide holistic support. Various departments cooperate within the centre to offer services and trainings related to youth welfare, legal advice, medical care, education, etc.

The Municipality of Altena partnered with Heatpulse to provide 1000 local households with a free voluntary heat scan and insulation advice. The heat scan shows residents where the specific heat leaks of their home are located such as windows, roods, and facades. Residents receive customized advice based on their heat scan to help improve insulation, enhance comfort, and lower energy bills.

The city of Rotterdam partnered with the Rebel consultancy group to create a new digital marketplace "Rikx" that connects local social entrepreneurs with investors to incentivize hiring vulnerable residents. Rikx measures the impact that social entrepreneurs make with their projects and converts this into financial value with Rikx digital tokens which can be purchased by private-sector partners.
