Thirty-three British Columbia startups were selected for a 12-week development program. This group was reduced to five finalists by the city along with sponsors Salmon Capital Holdings and Spring. Finalists for a grand prize of at least $50,000 CAD in investments covered innovations from sustainable food to solar energy. The event's finale included a keynote address on impact measurement and final presentations to viewers throughout the province.
Project Succeeded
Heal Mary won the challenge's grand prize for a platform that increases access to clinical trials. ProjectDome also received a $15,000 CAD loan for its virtual-reality projection technology.
