The Charleston County Parks and Recreation Commission partnered with KultureCity, a non-profit specializing in sensory disability inclusion, to improve accessibility at local parks, playgrounds, concerts, and parties. The Charleston County Parks and Recreation Department is designing all new parks with an accessibility component by updating major facilities. The department also offers headphones, fidget toys, and other tools to help visitors with sensory disabilities at park events.
