Chihuahua, CI "Together for Us" violence prevention campaign used tortilla wrappings for outreach
The Municipal Government of Chihuahua's Department of Transversality of the Municipal Institute for Women (IMM) launched the "Together for Us" violence prevention campaign. The "Together for Us" campaign focused on raising awareness of family and gender-based violence in rural communities. The campaign distributed 30,000 tortilla paper wrappings with printed emergency numbers and a QR code to connect residents with the IMM hotline.

The Municipal Government of Chihuahua launched the "Ni Una Menos" program to provide emergency shelter for women in danger. The "Ni Una Menos" program provides urban transport operators with training on gender issues and raises awareness about violence against women. All public transport drivers that participate in the program are required to board any woman in danger and alert the Municipal Police with the "Marca el Cambio” panic button mobile app.

The Municipality of Chihuahua's Directorate of Human Development and Education provided free billboards for residents with visual impairments to improve their quality of life. The billboards are plastic tablets, designed by the Bank of Mexico, which allow individuals with visual impairments to identify banknote denominations using a ruler and Braille characters. The billboards are available upon request for any resident with a verified visual impairment.
