The City of Clermont-Ferrand created the “Le petit demain” website to help children understand the local news that is relevant to them. The website includes simple news articles about events for children, introductory dossiers on topics important to youth culture, sports videos, online games, etc. The website is dedicated to "small Clermont explorers" and encourages local children to become more involved in the community by reading, playing, and watching.

Clermont-Ferrand, ARA offers adapted versions of the municipal magazine for the visually impaired
The City of Clermont-Ferrand has started offering adapted versions of its Clermont Tomorrow municipal magazine for visually impaired residents. The city partnered with the Braille and Culture association AcceSens to produce a Braille translation of the magazine. The magazine is also available different files types including Digital Accessible Information System which converts text to an audio file and Rich Text Format which converts digital braille characters on a computer tool in real-time.

Clermont-Ferrand, ARA Citizen's Convention gets residents involved in the policy-making process
The City of Clermont-Ferrand launched the Citizen's Convention to improve participatory democracy by including residents in the policy-making process. The Citizen's Convention randomly selects 80 residents to constitute a representative panel of the city's population. The panel formulates policy proposals and concrete measures to improve the lives of residents by addressing ecological, democratic, and social challenges. After five months, the recommendations are submitted to a citizen vote.
