The city's Public Works Department outfitted plows and snowblowers with GPS tracking devices. Development Department personnel converted location data into Snow Removal and Sidewalks maps. Color-coded streets and sidewalks highlighted city progress toward cleared paths over the previous 24 hours. Each city-owned winter vehicle was labeled for easy tracking on the maps.
