Liverpool City Council, GB piloting pedestrian crossing
Liverpool City Council is piloting new innovative pedestrian crossings, developed by the behavioural science company So-Mo, on two of its most dangerous roads. The two-year trial will evaluate the effectiveness of a "Gold Standard" pedestrian crossing at the first site and a "faster boarding" system at the second site. The goal of the pilot is to increase the number of safe crossings made by pedestrians at both sites.
