The council is working with Community Fibre and Hyperoptic on a two-year fiber installation project. High-speed broadband will be available at 8,000 homes and businesses once the installation is completed. New fiber lines enable free Wi-Fi access at community hubs and public buildings throughout the borough. Digital inclusion training courses and apprenticeships offered by project partners unlock the full benefits of high-speed connectivity.
