Westmorland County contracted engineering consultant Michael Baker International to identify areas without adequate internet access, develop a broadband plan, and establish partnerships with private companies to expand broadband services. The Westmorland County Department of Planning and Development is paying $600,000 in American Rescue Plant Act funds for the one-year o service with the option of extending the contract up to five years.
