Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council, GB Maritime Innovation
Wirral created this program as part of its involvement in the Port City Innovation Hub. One hundred startups and small businesses will be divided into four training cohorts. Entrepreneurs learn how to fill maritime industry needs during innovation masterclasses and mentoring sessions. The program connects businesses with research and development facilities. Project partner Mersey Maritime teaches participants to develop relationships with customers in the Liverpool City Region.
