DORIS care

At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, local authorities faced the significant challenge of keeping their vulnerable residents safe. A solution that alerted local authorities to the declining health of their vulnerable population was needed to enable them to respond as quickly as possible to their needs. In response to this challenge, we developed DORIS care. This discreet device monitors activity patterns and triggers alerts to changes in daily patterns that could indicate a fall or illness. Simply placed on a kitchen shelf, the DORIS care sensor automatically relays insights and triggers alerts, without any user interaction, cameras or microphones. The device also detects and triggers alerts for concerning temperature extremes in the home.
