Hampshire County Council, GB encouraged elderly independence with Amazon Echo trial
Hampshire County Council, GB Amazon Echo Elderly
Hampshire and PA Consulting distributed devices to 50 elderly residents to increase self-sufficiency and independence. This collaboration resulted in an Alexa skill called My Carer, which helped caregivers communicate more effectively with trial participants. The county council previously supported elderly independence through tablet and video conferencing pilots from 2016 to 2017.
