In Progress

The Lake County Sheriff's Department partnered with VirTra to install a virtual reality simulator for police training. Officers must use verbal commands, body language, negotiation tactics, situational awareness, fake weapons, and various equipment to navigate realistic tense experiences. Trainers operating the control center can vary the on-screen responses based on the trainee's performance.
