The Stuttgarter Rössle initiative offers long-term bike rentals with a focus on households unable to afford cars for essential trips. Program operator Neue Arbeit maintains 60 e-cargo bikes at 12 locations. Renters can pay as little as 32 euros per month including insurance and deposits of 200 euros for bike use. There is a six-month minimum rental period and new applicants are wait-listed when the fleet is fully deployed.
