Stuttgart, BW Digital Traffic Flow Optimization Pilot

A pilot fleet of 500 drivers will supply data on traffic conditions through a mobile app. Anonymized vehicle data is stored on the enviroCar platform and sent to the city's Integrated Traffic Control Center (IVLZ). Transit officials will integrate information on commuting conditions with traffic signal data, construction plans, and floating car data. This five-month pilot shapes Stuttgart's plans for digitally connected traffic with reduced congestion and tailpipe emissions.
