Whittlesea, VIC consults with young residents on gambling harm reduction campaign

Whittlesea, VIC Young Residents Gambling Harm Reduction

In Progress

Residents aged 16 to 25 were asked to participate in collaborative workshops with council staffers. The weekly workshops are opportunities for participants to shape social media, in-person, and traditional media outreach on gambling's negative effects. Whittlesea recruited participants from diverse communities to maximize campaign impacts. Workshop attendees receive $25 AUD per hour to help the council achieve goals set in its 10-year Gambling Strategy and Action Plan.
