Manchester City Council, GB Local Graduate Talent Pipeline

Ten small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) were recruited for a one-year pilot that keeps local talent in Manchester. Participating businesses create temporary roles for graduates of Manchester Metropolitan University. City staffers provide Continuing Professional Development lessons that assist graduates with transitions to the workplace. SME supervisors offer personalized guidance throughout graduate placements that increase the odds of permanent employment.
