Parma, EMI launched the Didactic Educational Energy Laboratory consultancy services center
The Municipality of Parma's Educational Services Sector launched the Didactic Educational Energy Laboratory (LED) consultancy services center. The LED is a unique center that collects, designs, and develops educational practices and services for individuals from birth through adulthood. The LED implements and enhances innovative educational opportunities and activities in a system that promotes education as a cultural practice to be shared amongst the whole community.

Parma, EMI launched €188,000 worth of incentives to encourage bicycle commuting
The City of Parma launched a series of incentives to encourage the use of bicycles for commuting to-and-from work. The incentives have cost the city €57,000 in funds along with a loan of €131,000 from the Emilia-Romagna Region. The "bike to work" campaign includes kilometer incentives for home-work trips which companies can track with an app to measure employee bike traveling, incentives to reduce the cost of bike-sharing, and incentives to reduce the cost of storing bicycles at velostations.
