The Chattanooga Police Department launched a new mobile app "Atlas One" to build trust with the community, enhance transparency, and improve public safety. The Atlas One mobile app makes it easier for residents to communicate with officers, submit anonymous tips, and receive alerts on incidents within a few hundred feet of their location. The app uses geofencing technology to trigger an automatic alert whenever the user enters or exists the virtual geographic boundary of an incident.
