Denbighshire County Council, GB joint archives service
Denbighshire County Council partnered with Flintshire County Council to launch, the North East Wales Archives, a joint archives service. The Councils merged their archives in order to create a more resilient and sustainable service for the region. The Council's hope that the North East Wales Archives will increase volunteer numbers, outreach activity and diversity among visitors. Eventually the archive service will be physically combined into a new environmentally-friendly building.
